Project

New construction of an office building for Dr. Schneider Kunststoffwerke's research and development department as well as a cafeteria.

The three-story building is functional and sleekly styled inside and outside. From modern, open-plan offices and meeting rooms to creative areas and kitchens to the presentation and conference rooms, every working method finds its space. The sustainable building concept meets the highest energy and thermal requirements.

EQUIPMENT

Interior design concept

Roughly 220 engineers, developers and innovation managers find the appropriate environment for their work here - sometimes alone, sometimes in groups. The furnishings were individually designed according to the customer's wishes. Bright, functional offices with the latest technical equipment enable quiet, concentrated work - sitting or standing at the height-adjustable desks. In contrast, the lively kitchens and creative areas create an inspiring feel-good atmosphere. This promotes creativity and encourages exchange throughout the work day, not only during breaks.

The cafeteria has been kept largely in white and gray with accents in Sonoma oak and the company's color, blue. This combination creates a pleasant, bright, and warm atmosphere. In the cafeteria, 175 seats were created inside plus 60 additional seats on the large outside terrace. The room also serves as an event hall when necessary.

Sustainability

Quality, made in Germany. Products that will shape future generations require responsibility in the use of resources. Short production routes, the avoidance of solvents and tropical woods, as well as the exceeding of required legal standards have already earned A2S numerous seals of approval and certificates.
